Hazel is Satanta Long Term Care Unit’s resident of the month for June when told this news Hazel smiled and said “oh, that’s nice”. Hazel was born to JN and Mabel Raner on November 6th, 1927 in Granada Colorado. Hazel met and married Paul Blackmore in Sublette. They met at the Ideal Food Store in Sublette. They married in 1946. Hazel and Paul had four girls, Lawanda, Pauline, Mary and Bonnie. Paul was the Haskell Co. sheriff and Hazel was the Haskell Co. dispatcher! Hazel also worked as a telephone company operator and a rural mail carrier. Hazel likes word find books and bingo. She is also fun to talk with. Congratulations Hazel.
